PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM, before the Village Board and the Plan Commission at the Fontana Village Hall, 175 Valley View Drive, Fontana, WI, for an opportunity for public testimony input on proposed amendments to the “Village of Fontana Comprehensive Plan.”
The proposed amendments involve the following:
- Future Land Use Map (Map 5a) amendment to change the future land use recommendation from “Agricultural/Vacant” to “Planned Mixed Use” for W4340 Basswood Drive (tax key no.: IA520600001)
- Text amendment to Chapter 6 to accommodate exclusively residential projects within the “Central Mixed Use” future land use category.
The Comprehensive Plan and the proposed amendments are available for review at Fontana Village Hall during regular office hours Monday through Friday or a copy may be requested by emailing villageclerk@vi.fontana.wi.gov.
