As a lakefront community, Fontana boasts a great many parks for its size, including recreation and conservation areas as well as playgrounds and sports fields for the kids.

Hildebrand Nature Conservancy
A nature trail leads pedestrians through the natural conservation area, along the Van Slyke Creek, from the Mill Street entrance to the Mill House Pavilion at the West Main Street entrance.
Fontana Fen
Take one of three annotated walks at this 10-acre conservation area, home to the calcareous fen. This rare type of wetland prairie has an internal ground water system that supports only a few specialized plants. The fen is located off Highway 67 next to St. Benedict Catholic Church. The parking area is located at the corner of Main Street and Dewey Avenue. The area is open daily, year round with no admission fees.
Duck Pond Recreation Area
Duck Pond Recreation Area is located on Wild Duck Road, off Highway 67. The park contains numerous hiking trails, as well as softball, baseball and soccer fields and a Frisbee golf course. The Duck Pond Pavilion with bathroom facilities and a concession stand is open during scheduled sports events and available to rent for special events.
Reid Park & Gazebo
Reid Park, located off Fontana Boulevard and Third Avenue, features the Little Foot Playground, a small softball diamond, picnic tables and a lakefront gazebo. Pioneer Park
Pioneer Park offers an unobstructed view of Geneva Lake. This park is located on Lake Street across the street from the Village boat launch site.
Mohr Road Park
The Village Park at the end of Mohr Road features a public access point for the Geneva Lake shorepath, as well as a recently refurbished lakefront bench and pedestrian bridge.
